There is a spot on 108th NE across the street from the Bellevue Transit Center that for as long as I knew it was a Mexican restaurant. And then it was a Mexican restaurant with a different name. And yet again a Mexican restaurant with another different name.
Finally, as I thought the place was officially closed, a co-worker told me there was something new there. Yet again! Except this time it wasn't a Mexican restaurant but a Thai noodle spot.
I tried it out last week and I can't wait to go back. I got a chicken broth soup with egg noodles. You can choose the noodles from about four different kinds. Condiments are brought to the table including chilies marinated in vinegar or fish sauce, chili paste and flakes. They have rice dishes, seafood, grilled dishes and traditional Thai street food! Seriously, can't wait to go back. Thankfully it's literally across the street! Hope y'all get to try it!
